Hard things...
Okay so I got some pretty disappointing news Sunday night telling me I didn't make the Spellbinders design team. Now I am going to be completely honest with you and say I was beyond bummed. I even cried. I know dumb right? I just put soooo much into this that it was sad to see it not come into fruition. Anywho, I am going to share with you the projects I made for each round.

I am home.
Alright I am home from CHA and I have been since Wednesday night. I am still super tired. I need a day of sleep I think. Not thinking that is going to happen. I have a bunch of photos that need to be gone through and edited before they make an appearance here. However I want to share something with you. I am a needy neighbor. I am the neighbor who asks to borrow cloves, or cream of tartar or a couple of eggs. So with that being said, I recently asked to borrow eggs. I say borrow, because I will return 2 eggs or more...
I sent this over to my neighbors after having borrowed eggs. I hand cut the egg and stamped the yoke with a sentiment from the Paper Smooches Wake Up set. So appropriate and cute. Thanks for stopping by!!

For Renee...
Okay so this post is for Renee who asked for a "quick" how to. Here goes.
First you get your card ready by punching out the shape you want.
Next, take a small rectangle a little bigger than your butterfly and put down a good adhesive. I use Crafty Power Tape by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L because the stuff ROCKS!!
Take your twine and wrap it around the rectangle. Be sure to press down on the adhesive end every now and again to make sure your twine is adhered properly.
Finished with that part.
Now you want to put adhesive as close to the edges of your punched shape as possible. This will keep the twine close to the shape and prevent separation.
Make sure you have your twine where you want it.
This is what it will look like when it is placed inside the card.
And there you have it.
Be sure you stamp your sentiment first as it is easier to stamp without the bulk of the twine to deal with. Hope that helps!

For today...
So I successfully took 12 photos yesterday! YAY! Now I just need to get them on a layout and I am good to go. So in the meantime I will share a card that I made with Divine Twine by Whisker Graphics and Technique Tuesday stamps. So much fun to do.
I am hoping to get a lot accomplished this weekend, but we shall see what happens. I have a house and scrap room that are in desperate need of a cleaning! Have a good day!
